Just when I thought...

I came to my blog tonight to delete it. I'm looking at some new options for my life (aka a new job, possibly new city) and I thought a possible employer doing a background check wouldn't want to read about my problems. I also didn't think I could keep this thing up, and that no one would EVER read this thing. But just when I thought...

I got a comment. Two comments in fact!!! And those two comments gave me some renewed faith in this idea o blogging, and just why I wanted to do it in the first place. I'm not alone. I can share my story and others WILL respond. I can change my life, and maybe grow to a point where I can help someone else.

I don't have time to write much tonight. But I have to say THANK YOU to Cindy. Thank you for reading. And thank you for your kindness. I am not going to give up on this now.

That being said... Two sessions into therapy, and I've already hit a key point which has made a difference in things for the short term. The main ray hope... There IS hope. When I started I lost hope, any possibility of hope, I may have forgotten how to spell H-O-P-E. That combine with what I found on my blog... I might just be on to something here. STAY TUNED!

Good for you! I've been crazy-busy this past week and am just now getting to reading blogs. There is a lot to get caught up on... HOPE is a wonderful thing and it is what keeps us going in times of darkness and despair. I am in a rough spot myself these days, so hearing how someone else is cultivating hope raises my hopes. I don't know much about blogs, other than the few I read (and all of those I found from links on the first blog I ever read when I started this weight loss journey three+ years ago), but I would think you should get quite a following once people discover you. Maybe make comments on other logs, as you did with AFG. That is how I found you. Perhaps others will connect to what you say in that way, too. I am not a blogger myself, I just read a few so that I don't feel quite so alone in this battle. My world is pretty small and the people I know really have know idea what it is like to be me or to have this kind of a relationship with food. Only through blogs have I found people who even come close to understanding my situation. We each suffer in our own unique ways, I suspect, even when there are commonalities.
Anyway, best of luck and keep the writing coming!

thank you for stopping by and leaving comments! I'm glad you didn't delete your blog. I don't think a future employer could find your blog unless it shows up under your name on google. Anyway, I added you to my inspiring links and hope to see more writing from you soon! take care!

I am sure hearing this over and over again really hurts. I used to get the "male version of this" all the time.

This society we live in today is structured to get us big. It throws all kinds of demons at us. Obesity is just one of them. We eat to find solace and comfort in the media that conditions us with shame and impossible standards for the everyday person. They show us coked up 16 year old models and dunkin donuts in the same blink of an eye...

What kind of breakfast do you have? Do you have breakfast? May I suggest the breakfast I have every morning.

Just try Step #1 of my 3 Greatest Secrets to a body you will be Proud of. It is a delicious sweet breakfast, almost like desert. All you buy is natural wholefoods from the supermarket. Email me if you want more clarification.

I was obese all thru high school and college. If I could go back in time and tell myself to do one thing different, this would be it.

I've had similar feelings about my weight loss blog recently. I mean, what if someone I don't know well Googles me - or something - and finds all this... personal stuff? I'm glad you decided to keep going. It's amazing how uplifting those comments are!!! I do a little dance every time I get one! I'm adding your blog to my reader right now. :)

Just found your blog today and I do hope you keep it going. I just started a blog about a month ago and I am now reading all these other blogs to help keep me going. I have been fat my entire life and have decided that I have had enough and want to change. We all can inspire and push each other to keep going. I think any employer that would ever see a blog like ours should think we have determination and strength and that can only be good!

I have struggled with weight loss my entire life. There are so many programs out there that are total junk. After filtering through tons of unkept promises, I stumbled upon this one and it has worked AMAZINGLY for me, honestly. I tried it because I needed to get down to the actual reasons why i was unable to lose weight. i just though i would pass on the good word. i hope this helps.

Good Morning,

I am a Body By Vi Distributer. Have you heard about it yet?

It's a brand new 90 Day Challenge from a company called ViSalus Sciences. It’s already helped people lose over 3 million pounds and 1,000 new people are joining the challenge every day!

Visalus has awesome products that are helping people reach their weight loss and fitness goals in just 90 days and they’re giving away over $25,000,000 a year in prizes such as free cruises and Hollywood makeovers.

It seems super simple and I'm looking to get a few people to take the Challenge with me. I think it will be fun!

Check out these quick 3 Quick Steps:

1. Call this 4 minute pre-recorded Information Line: (507) 726-3700
2. Watch the short videos at itsdonesimple.bodybyvi.com
3. Fill out your contact information when you’re on the site above so you can watch a special video explaining how the Challenge can possibly help you and your family!

Are up for taking the Challenge with me? Let me know!
